== Involvement ==
Upon entering the main office of the [[Basilisk Gate Barracks]], the player will encounter {{CharLink|Lora Bergauz}} futilely attempting to explain to Flame Portyr that her daughter, {{CharLink|Vanra Bergauz|Vanra}}, has gone missing. Portyr seems to be having severe short-term memory issues and keeps forgetting what Lora has said only seconds earlier in the conversation. A successful [[Arcana]] check reveals that her memory has been magically tampered with.
 
Speaking to Lora and Portyr allows the party to begin the {{Quest|Save Vanra}} quest.
 
Through progressing the quest to save Vanra, it is revealed that {{CharLink|Auntie Ethel}} has bewitched Portyr to prevent her from investigating Vanra's disappearance. Upon entering the main office of the Basilisk Gate Barracks, the player will encounter Lora Bergauz Lora Bergauz futilely attempting to explain to Flame Portyr that her daughter, Vanra Bergauz Vanra, has gone missing. Portyr seems to be having severe short-term memory issues and keeps forgetting what Lora has said only seconds earlier in the conversation. A successful Arcana check reveals that her memory has been magically tampered with.

Speaking to Lora and Portyr allows the party to begin the Save Vanra Save Vanra quest.
