Involvement In Baldur's Gate, he can be found inside The Lodge just past the main door. If you completed the Steal a Githyanki Egg Lady Esther , Havkelaag will be dead along with the rest of the members of the Society of Brilliance, having been killed by Ptaris - the child he raised from the egg.
According to the Sword Coast Couriers address book, Havkelaag has a 'philosophical objection' to postal service, and all letters must be address to Golbraith instead.
