The player can then convince them to aid the party in killing her, or setting her free by passing an [[Ability Check]]. If the player is either a [[Drow]], [[Half-Elf#Half-Drow|Drow Half-Elf]], or a [[Githyanki]], both will attempt to fight. The player can then dissuade the Tieflings with an [[Intimidation]] check.


Before leaving, the player can ask both of them if they know of a healer. They will send the player to [[Nettie]], updating the [[Remove the Parasite]] and starting the [[Get Help from Healer Nettie]] [[quest]]s.

Damays wants to take Lae'zel back to their camp, while Nymessa wants to leave her behind. Lae'zel will telepathically tell the player to free her. This starts the quest [[Free Lae'zel]].
