Good day! What could be more pleasant than spending one's inheritance? Though I don't imagine you would know.

Involvement[edit | edit source]

Act Three[edit | edit source]

When spoken with, Lord Whitburn comments on how it is a pleasant day to spend their inheritance. He also regularly talks to Lady Whitburn about new clothes and diamonds as if the events of the city do not matter to them like they do for the rest of the citizens of Baldur's Gate.

Idle banter[edit | edit source]

Lord Whitburn has idle banter with Lady Whitburn:

  • Lord Whitburn: This neighbourhood isn't what it used to be.
    • Lady Whitburn: What is, dear? What is?
      • Lord Whitburn: You, darling! You're just as rich as the day I married you.
  • Lady Whitburn: No Lower City house can compare to our mansion next to the High Hall.
    • Lord Whitburn: Right! Safest place in the city, too.
      • Lady Whitburn: It was so clever of your grandparents to build there.
  • Lady Whitburn: Refugees. What a dreadful existence.
    • Lord Whitburn: We could take a few in. Our mansion's big enough.
      • Lady Whitburn: Oh, you are the funny one!
  • Lady Whitburn: Darling, did you hear that crier from Baldur's Mouth? Lord Gortash is dead!
    • Lord Whitburn: Lord Gortash, dead! Do you know what that means, sweetness?
      • Lady Whitburn: A state funeral! And we're sure to be invited. I'll need new clothes!
        • Lord Whitburn: You always look smashing in black, dear. Wear your diamonds.
