Hartlebury

Fist Wizard Hartlebury is a gold dwarven Flaming Fist wizard stationed on the bridge to Baldur's Gate, managing the queue leading into the Upper City.

Involvement

Baldur's Gate

During Act Three, Hartlebury can be found on the bridge leading through Baldur's Gate, watching over the queue of residents trying to make their way into the Upper City. With her fellow Fists having received orders to not let anyone into the Upper City, she is among those trying to keep the queue orderly and prevent anyone from entering.

If returning to Baldur's Gate after acquiring all Netherstones, three infected refugees by the queue transform into Mind Flayers and attack the nearby party. Hartlebury is  Surprised, but fights alongside the party. Once the Mind Flayers are dead, she and all the Fists around run away to warn their superiors, before completely vanishing from the game once far enough.

Deals 8d8Necrotic to a target. Plants take maximum damage from this spell, and have Disadvantage on the Saving throw against it.

CON Save

 Range: 9 m / 30 ft

 Conjure Elemental: Fire Elemental (+ )

The fire elemental can use  Smouldering Touch,  Erupting Cinder, and can make your foes  Burn.

 Range: 18 m / 60 ft

 Counterspell (+ )

Try to stop a spell being cast.

If it is higher level than the spell slot you used to Counterspell, you must make a check using your spellcasting ability^{[See Notes]} to prevent it. The check's difficulty is equal to 10 plus the level of the spell you are trying to counter.

This spell can be cast while you are  Silenced.

Alter time around up to 6 enemies to Slow them. They won't get far, they can't do much, and they're easier to hit.
